16 Pad Noise Terrorist (aka Candy Schlueer) appeared in the spotlight
of the dark drum 'n' bass scene in 2006 having 10 years experience in music production and DJing. Since 2000 Candy has been a resident DJ in the famous and impressive Leipzig club Moritzbastei. 16 PNT, member of the world wide operating crew "Global Noise Movement", brings the audience to dance with his "electronic trash" program once a month. 16 Pad Noise Terrorist is also a member of the band "S.K.E.T.", producing rhythmic noise tunes on the 'Hands' label.
He released as "Paulebb" some small EP's as well as an own produced 12" named "Patient X". 16 PNT's newest release is a 12 Inch with the artist "TliCyperkid" on the Leipzig label "flopbeatdisk". Another fresh micro-release will follow in summer 2009 on the Drum and Bass label "Alphacut".
The style of 16Pad Noise Terrorist is a mixture of drum 'n' bass
and dark industrialised sounds.
He knows how to fuse bright and pure beats with distorted basslines and
emotional synths to create a rhythmic
and melodic symbiosis which resurrects the listener out of the daily routine.
Oscillating between slow-steady tracks and speedy hardcore tunes 16Pad
Noise Terrorist tries to communicate on a level for an audience and the individual listener. He wants to express his emotions regarding the rage about the world's grievance as well as love and hate themes.
His thoughts travel from one hand with the macro-structure of the world, especially
processes of globalization with the social gap between poor and rich,
to the micro-structure of the family and personal
intimate life with matters of love relationship,
existential fear and hope as well as death on the other.
Although the contents of 16PNT's tracks are often staggering he is able
to gleam some hopeful and positive aspects which
are activated through the tidy melodies and the drifty beats.
Let's awaken the paralyzed crowd from their old established traditions
and liberate them from their apathy!
Let’s terrorize the world with 16 sample pads guns. Make some noise!
